Cathedral Caverns

We spent our Saturday at Cathedral Caverns, about 45 minutes outside of Huntsville. It was so much fun to have the kids experience this kind of adventure for the first time! I was really impressed with how well Moira listened to our tour guide and how much she learned from his fun facts, and Ian was such a trooper with all the climbing and walking (about 1.5 miles in all) and I only had to carry him a couple of times. Click on the picure below, and it'll take you to all of our photos from the day in our Picasa album - enjoy!

Oh you McCann's always find fun stuff to do. What ever did you do in Lompoc for so many years? Beautiful happy family. Come back!!!

Janelle, you must teach me how to post pictures in like that. I need to share pictures on my blog someday without posting for hours!

Hey Janessa! So glad you enjoyed the pics - we miss you too! And, I must give most of the credit to Collin for inevitably digging up the most fun wherever we go! One of the reasons I married him! :)

Sharing photos on your blog like this is really quite easy. My friend Erica (e) taught me how back in June! Thanks, e! :)

First, you'll need to create a Picasa account, if you haven't already. Then, simply upload your photos to an album, copy the link to the album, insert a picture into your blog post, and make it a hyperlink using the copied link to your Picasa album. Does that make sense?

There's also a way to imbed a slideshow into your blog post (which is really cool), but I haven't attempted that since your photos need to be made public (and searchable by anyone with a picasa account), and the way I did it allows me to keep them private.

Let me know if you need anymore help, and I'll be happy to try!

Thanks for visiting us virtually... now if we could just get you out here physically! ;o)

How fun!

I need to try the Picasa thing so I don't post so many at a time...it would also save my frustrations with blogger on posting multiple pics! Thanks for the info on that!
